A highly apt ending to our festival of so many transformations, the Feast of Fools originated in 11th-century France and spread throughout Europe until as late as the 16th century when it was finally banned.

During this much-loved festival, with its roots deep in antiquity, much of society was inverted; in particular the young were empowered, a child crowned Bishop and the noble ass revered!

Join our merry party in the ultimate metamorphosis, and enjoy a wide range of medieval and renaissance music as you’ve never experienced it. Community and family-friendly event suitable for children allowed to stay up a bit later!
